Chaas is a healthy, refreshing, and delicious yogurt/buttermilk-based beverage. Chaas is a nice way to digest a large meal. It is very good for health in summer.
Ingredients
Curd -1 cup
curry leaves chopped -6
Green chilies chopped -1
Ginger chopped - 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida (Hing) - a pinch
Lemon juice - 1tsp
Salt - To taste
1tsp oil
mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Water - 2 cups
Method
Whisk the curd till smooth with a blender. Then add curry leaves, chilies, ginger, thing, lemon juice, salt, and water. Again blend it with a blender.
Take a sause pan , add oil . When it is hot add mustard seeds, When the mustard seeds stop splattering, quickly add this to the buttermilk. Mix well and keep it refrigerated.
