Milk poli or Pal poli



INGREDIENTS
1 litre milk
250gm sugar
1/4 tsp. saffron
200gm. rawa or sooji
Water 
Oil for frying

Method
Take rawa  add enough water and knead in to a stiff dough and keep it aside for an hour. Divide the dough in to small equal sized balls. Roll it in to thin pooris and make this poori in to a semi circle by folding it. Heat oil and deep fry the pooris and keep it in a airtight container. Boil milk , add sugar and stir well till sugar dissolves. Sprinkle saffron and mix it well. Dip each poli in the milk and collect it in a plate. Don"t put all the pooris in the  milk at once . Just dip and collect it in a plate. Otherwise it will stick together. If there is excess milk pour it over the polis. Allow it to soak for atleast  half an hour. If you allow it to soak for a long time the pooris will absorb all the milk. If you want you can boil some milk and sugar and pour it over the pooris again.
