Badam halwa
Badam halwa is the queen of all  sweets. My mother is a specialist in preparing this. Badam halwa is a delicious desert made with pureed badam sugar,ghee and milk. Above all it is a very easy recipe, anybody can try it at home. 

Ingredients 


Badam -1cup

Sugar -11/2cup
kesar  colour -2 drops
Ghee -1/2 ghee
Milk -1 cup
Water  -1/2 cup
Saffron  – A pinch


Method:
Soak badam in hot water for an hour.
Remove the  skin and grind to a paste adding little milk.
Heat  water and add sugar  and boil till it reaches one string consistency.
Add the badam paste and cook till it thickens.
Add the kesar colour and add ghee little by little and stir continuously on low heat till ghee comes out.
Don”t heat for a long time, Otherwise badam  halwa will become hard.
Garnish with saffron and serve.
