Mysurpa

Mysore pak  is a sweet dish  usually served as  a dessert. It is made of generous amounts of ghee, sugar and gram flour.

Ingredients
Besan flour  -  1 cup
Sugar           -  11/2 cup
Ghee             - 11/2 cu
Water            - As required
Method
Sift the besan flour in a sieve.
Melt the ghee in a pan.The ghee should be hot. So keep it in sim.
Take sugar in a pan and pour enough
water just to cover the sugar.
Dry roast gram flour in a pan for one minute till it becomes hot,not more than that.
When the sugar syrup comes to one string consistency (Dip your forefinger in cold water and then in the syrup. Hold your forefinger and thumb together and it will be sticky ) simmer the stove and  add the gram flour little by little stirring continuously so that no lumps are formed.
Now add the melted ghee little by little.
When you see holes in the mixture and when it forms in to a big lump without sticking to the sides of the pan pour this mixture in to a ghee greased plate and spread it with the back side of the laddle.
Cut it in to desired shapes when it is hot.
