CRISPY ONION RINGS


Ingredients

Onion Thickly sliced   -  3 Large
Maida                        -  2 cups
Salt                            -  To taste  
Oil                             - For frying
Baking powder          - 1/4 tspoon
Corn flour                 -  2 Tspoon
White pepper powder-1/2 Tspoon


Method

Cut the onion  in to rings & keep the middle part aside. Use only the outer giant rings.
Mix together maida, cornflour, salt, white pepper powder & baking powder.
 Add  sufficient water to make a thick batter.
Whip this batter with whisk or hand continuously for 5 minutes.
 Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
 Dip onion rings in the batter & deep fry till crisp.
 Remove & drain on an absorbent paper. Serve hot.
