Rajma rice

Ingredients 
Red kidney beans (Rajma): 200 gm
 Chopped onion     : 3
 Chopped tomato : 3
 Chopped ginger: 1/2 tsp
 Chopped garlic: 1/2 tsp
 cardamom: 2 
 Kashmiri red chilli powder: 1 spoon
 Turmeric powder: 1/4tsp
 Desi ghee: 4 tsp
Chopped coriander: 2 tsp
 Salt to taste.

Method 
Wash and soak the rajma overnight. Boil the rajma with sufficient water with cardamom till soft. In a pan, add ghee, saute the onion till golden brown, add the ginger, garlic and then tomato. Add turmeric, cook for 10 minutes. Add chilli powder and then the cooked rajma. Simmer for 1 0 / 1 5 minutes. Adjust consistency and add salt. Add chopped coriander. Serve with cooked basmati rice.
