For kofta
Raw jackfruit - 500 gms
Big onion grated -1
Gramflour - 4tsp
Coriander powder - 1tsp
Mango powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1tsp
Salt - To taste
Chilli powder -1/2 tsp
For curry
Tomatoes grated - 100 gms
Sour curd - 1 cup
Oil- 3tsp
Big onions greated -2
Turmeric powder -1tsp
Cumin powder - 1tsp
Garam masala - 1tsp'
Sugar -1tsp
Coriander powder -1tsp
Coriander leaves chopped - little
Bay leaves -2
Salt- To taste
Chilli powder - To taste
Method
Peel and cut jackfruit in ti pieces and steam them till they turn soft.
Then grind the steamed pieces to a paste and mix it with all the kofta ingredients.
Form this mixture in to small balls and deep fry them in golden colour.
Heat 3tsp oil and fry bay leaves and onions to a golden colour.
Then put in sugar, slat and all the spices, curd, and tomatoes and cook till the oil comes out.
Now put in 2 cups of water, boil for 5 minutes and add the koftas and boil for 5 minutes.
Decorate with coriander leaves.
