Tomato soup



Ingredients
                                                           Tomatoes -5                                                 
onion chopped    1                              


Water                   3cup
Butter                   1tsp
pepper powder     1/4tsp
Ginger-garlic paste 1/4tsp
Salt to taste
Cream for garnishing 

Coriander leaves   1tsp                                                                



Method

Heat chopped tomatoes in a pan with 1 cup of water.Bring it to boil  , reduce the heat and cook until tomatoes are soft. Let it cool for sometime and then blend this in a blender.( Don"t blend the tomatoes when it is hot ,.Hot liquids will blow away the top of the blender. ) Add water and strain this with a juice strainer.
Heat butter in a pan , add onions , saute till golden colour , add ginger garlic paste , saute for a minute and add tomato puree and  bring it to boil and cook on medium heat until soup is reduced to the desired consistency. Add salt and pepper. Transfer this to a serving bowl. Garnish with fresh cream and coriander leaves. Serve hot with bread sticks.
